Citizens can use Messages to exchange messages electronically with public sector organisations. After logging into Web Service with their internet banking codes, personal identity card or mobile certificate, citizens can read the messages sent to them in the Messages section. Messages enables the authorities to send notifications and decisions to citizens electronically regardless of how the citizen wants to receive them. If the citizen has given permission to receive messages electronically, the message sent by the authority is directed to Messages in the citizen’s Web Service. If the citizen has not given permission for messages to be sent electronically, messages sent into the service will be printed out and posted to the citizen on paper.
