The Population Register Centre does not process matters concerned with individual citizens’ personal information. Local Register Offices serve citizens with all matters connected with population register management – such as, for example, notifications of move, checking one's own information, correction or amendment of personal information, prohibitions on information disclosure and the issuing of certificates concerning individual citizens' information. You can also check your personal information on the Internet at no charge by using the Population Register Centre’s Check Your Registered Data! service.
The Population Register Centre is responsible for the Population Information System’s information service for the public authorities as well as for many companies. We try to respond as soon as possible to questions concerning the transfer and use of information as well as to feedback.

If you do not yet have an e-billing system, you can use the Finnish Government’s e-billing service Supplier Portal to produce and send electronic invoices. The service is currently offered free of charge. To find out more about the service and to create an account, please visit State Treasury’s web page Government E-Invoicing Website.

Alternatively, you can use the Verkosto service offered by Posti to produce and submit e-invoices. Using the Verkosto service to send e-invoices to central government agencies is free of charge. To log on to the service and to find out more about using it, see the Verkosto website. Verkosto’s customer service telephone number is +358 200 77000 (call prices consist of the service charge/mobile service charge). The office hours are Mon-Fri from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m.
You can also use the e-billing service to submit annexes to invoices. Only annexes submitted in an electronic format (preferably PDF) will be accepted.
We do not accept invoices sent by e-mail, only electronic invoices submitted via the e-billing system.
Population Register Centre request that our suppliers only submit invoices containing the correct data in the correct fields. From the beginning of 2016, we will return incorrect invoices and may charge you for the additional work caused by the manual processing of invoices, however no more than EUR 20.
