The Address Service helps you to easily obtain the current addresses of almost everyone living permanently in Finland, either by telephone or through the internet service. Both of these services are only available in Finnish or in Swedish.
The addresses provided by the Address Service are obtained from the Population Information System. The addresses of the people you are looking for can be found by using a person’s first name and a family name (current or former). It is usually necessary to provide some other background information as well, for example a date-of-birth, age or a former place of residence. You will receive the address you asked for if the person has been identified correctly, has not forbidden the disclosure of his/her address and is over 15 years old.
The lines of our phone service (only in use in Finland) on 0600 0 1000 (Finnish) and 0600 0 1001 (Swedish) are open every day 8 am to 10 pm. Calls cost € 1.98/min + local network/mobile call rate.
The Internet service www.osoitepalvelu.net (Finnish) and www.adresstjanst.net (Swedish) is available 24 hours a day, year-round. This service can only be used by Finnish Internet banking services and costs € 1.24 for each address enquired.
Address enquiries (chargeable) can also be made by e-mail to the local register office of Helsinki. Please leave your enquiries in Finnish, Swedish or English. Contact information: e-mail address email@example.com (registry office), telephone +358 2955 39391 (exchange).
