Porvoo 17 Conference in Brussels on 10 - 11 May 2012

The 17h Porvoo Group Conference will be held in Brussels, Belgium on 10 - 11 May 2012.

The theme of the conference will be “Can legislation and technology offer the assurance that digital identities and personal data are safe on the internet?”. The conference's subjects include electronic identity and privacy, data protection, development work in the EU, as well as national eID development projects in the participating countries.

The conference will be organised by the Porvoo Group and e-Forum, which is a not-for-profit association that brings together interested parties active in the fields of eGovernment, electronic identity and data protection in Europe.
